Vodafone's UX Case
A screen flow of interactions and a wireframe set of key screens for a native mobile iOS application.
The context was to connect Vodafone’s lot device pet tracker in the application on a smartphone. This app may contain a GPS tracker and health report as functionalities.

World Scenario
Pet population, ownership also increased
As of the end of 2021, 46% of European households owned pets, the FEDIAF data showed. That equates to 90 million households. Both numbers outpaced those of 2020, when 88 million households owned pets, representing 38% of all households in Europe
More than 90% of dog and cat owners regard pets as part of the family

96% said they regard pets as part of the family;
-
60% admitted to being closer to their pet than to some members of their family of cat owners get up at 4.00 a.m. to feed their cat;

30% Sign their pet’s name on birthday and Christmas cards;
-
20% say they refer to themselves as their pet’s ‘mummy’ or ‘daddy’.

15% admit to having taken time off work because their pet was ill.

I can’t let the door opened because my dog run away all the time!
I usually set the alarm to remember me to give my pet medicine.
I co-parent my dog. Three days of week he is with me and the other days I let him with my ex husband.

Benchmark
There are a few products that use the idea to track something/someone by GPS device. But I didn’t find one that combines pet medical information with a GPS tracker.
These solutions are not necessarily about pets but have great functionalities that can adapt to the pet’s care.
So I navigate by them to understand their strengths and lacks, by analyzing the navigation, and information architecture to have insights to design the solution.
